THE SISTERS

My sister Randee and I grew up on a nursery just north of San Diego, California.  As young girls, I was the little sister with the blonde pixie cut, and Randee was the big sister with curly auburn locks.  Both of our parents were noted horticulturalists, so we naturally developed a love for flowers and plants, and a deep understanding of how they grow -- while I admit that my big sister is far more knowledgeable in this area than I am.    As we've grown older, my sister followed in our parents' footsteps becoming a sought-after landscape designer, and later in life, a very talented painter, whose most frequent subject is, as you'd imagine, flowers and landscapes.  

While we plan on making her actual paintings available for sale on this site, we wanted to share the beauty of her gardens and floral designs in ways that can reach many more flower lovers like us, and brighten their lives and their homes.
